We are not affiliated with, related to, or connected with any other business using the name "Rivo" in other industries , including Rivo Commerce, Rivo Reviews, or any other company. Reports of scams involving a company called "Rivo" do not involve Rivo Careers. We are a completely separate, incorporated company focused solely on helping students find co-op and internship opportunities.
How We Verify Job Listings
Keeping listings accurate is central to Rivo. Our automated verification system works as follows:
Continuous Scanning
An automated link-checker runs regularly across the company career pages we track, verifying that each listing is still active.
Rapid Removal
Listings that return errors, redirect to closed-position pages, or show expired indicators are removed promptly.
Direct Source Links
Every listing links directly to the hiring company's official career page. Rivo does not accept employer-paid postings.
Relevance Filtering
Senior-level positions and spam postings are automatically filtered out to keep listings relevant to students.
What Rivo Never Does
We never ask for bank information or Social Insurance Numbers
We never promise guaranteed job placements
We never sell student data to recruiters or third parties
We never accept employer-paid job postings, all listings are sourced from public career pages
We are never paid by employers and never feature sponsored or promoted roles
We never apply to a job on your behalf without your explicit opt-in and authorization
How Students Apply
Rivo offers two ways to apply, and the difference matters. On the free job board you always apply yourself; with the SMS agent (Auto Apply), Rivo submits applications on your behalf only after you opt in and authorize it.
Free Job Board
When you click "Apply" on a listing, you are taken directly to the hiring company's official career page to submit the application yourself. Rivo handles discovery and organization, finding opportunities, matching them to your profile, and tracking your applications, but the application goes through the employer's own system and you complete it.
SMS Agent & Auto Apply
If you opt into the SMS agent and authorize Auto Apply, Rivo acts as your authorized agent to fill and submit job applications on your behalf on third-party Applicant Tracking Systems (such as Workday and Greenhouse), using the profile, resume, and answers you provided. Rivo does not fabricate or alter your information. When Rivo applies, your application data is transmitted to the ATS or employer and becomes subject to that employer's own privacy policy.
